Junior Eurovision 2021 results



Overnight the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 took place with 19 nations competing.


In a close result Armenia won the title by six points with Maléna's performance of 'Qami Qami'.



After the jury vote France led on 120 points, with Poland and Armenia behind on 116 and 115 respectively.


Armenia however won the public vote with 109 points with Poland on 102 points while France was a distant fourth on 67 points.


Portugal was the surprise packet of the online vote, receiving 92 points to finish third in the public but 11th overall.

The voting was a 50/50 split between an expert jury and a public vote.


The public portion is conducted online where each voter must select three entries to vote for but they can vote for their own country (unlike the main contest).


Voters could also take part from nations not competing in the Contest, in total people from 199 countries and territories voted.


Maléna is 14-year-old songwriter and also plays the cello. Maléna participated in the Armenian national selection for the competition four years ago. She was originally representing Armenia at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020, however Armenia withdrew from the Contest.


This is Armenia's second Junior Eurovision title after taking out the 2010 title.
