2021 Eurovision winners Måneskin have today released their new single 'Supermodel'. Also in exciting news for Eurovision fans, the song will make its live premiere as an interval act during Saturday night's Grand Final!

Måneskin is made up of vocalist Damiano David, 23, bassist Victoria De Angelis, 22, guitarist Thomas Raggi, 21, and drummer Ethan Torchio, 21. The group won last year's contest with 'Zitti e buoni' scoring 524 points. It was Italy's third Eurovision win after previously taking the crown in 1964 and 1990.

'Supermodel' was produced by Swedish record producers Max Martin and Rami Yacoub along with SLY. Several teaser videos have already been released on Måneskin's social media accounts in the lead up to the song's release. A short video was shared online last week featuring the four band members enjoying drinks by the pool with the caption asking: "Fancy a party?"

Måneskin formed in 2016 and finished in second place in the 11th season of Italian talent show 'The X Factor' in 2017. Over the next few years they released several singles and then in 2021, they won Italy's famous 'Sanremo Music Festival' giving them the opportunity to represent Italy at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Since their Eurovision win, Måneskin have enjoyed chart success all over the world. Single 'I Wanna Be Your Slave' had worldwide success reaching Number 15 on the Australian ARIA chart. Follow-up cover single 'Beggin' was a global smash hit, peaking at Number 3 on the Australian ARIA chart and gaining huge success both in Europe and the United States.

The group have collected ten diamond, 185 platinum and 42 gold records across the world and currently have more than 4.5 billion streams across all digital platforms.

In October, the foursome will commence their 'Loud Kids Get Louder' world tour across North America and Europe cumulating with a show at London's 20,000 seat O2 Arena in May 2023. Sadly Australia is not included this time around but we can only hope they make the journey down under on their next tour!
