Australia's Eurovision 2023 stars, Voyager, made a triumphant return playing their first full gig in years over the weekend.
The milestone of a full show for the band was their first "in about two years" as tour plans took a back seat due to lead singer Danny's cancer diagnosis.
The family-friendly show was at Perth's Rosemount Hotel and included a meet-and-greet and charity auction.
It was extremely popular with the band having to put on more tickets due to demand.
Voyager took to their social media accounts to thank their fans after the performance.
"We have barely any words to describe what we experienced yesterday," they said.
"You showed up for us in ways we could never imagine, and to share our first ever matinee show with our beautiful fans of ALL AGES and to those who travelled from near and afar, truly means the world to us.
"We’d like to thank the students at Kelmscott and their band “The Empty Spaces” for opening the show, and showing Perth that the future of live music is going to be in good hands. It feels amazing to return to the stage, and we’re overjoyed to have shared that experience with you all."
The show follows the band's new song Seen Better Days, released in April.
Danny shares his experience
Danny also shared an update about how important the show was for him.
"Today I feel exhausted, fatigued, my limbs hurt and I can barely put on my own shoes,' he said.
"Yes I massively overdid it... HOWEVER my heart is full because yesterday @voyagerau played our first full show in about two years."
He also revealed the concerns he had before the gig.
"I was extremely nervous about this show, not knowing if my body can handle it, but the minute I was on stage it all felt so right and I forgot all the woes," he posted.
"As I write these words from a couch, feeling like a truck just ran me over, I have the biggest damn smile on my face. Let's do it all again soon!"
Next show in July
The band have an 18+ full live show at Magnet House, Perth on Friday 4 July.
It's a night the band says is a must-see.
"This is Voyager live – and a show you won’t want to miss," they said.
"Join us for a night of soaring synths, thunderous riffs, and raw emotion as we celebrate survival, music, and everything that brought us here.
"We have no idea when this will happen again so let’s gather and stare into the night – together."
