It comes at a rather nice surprise that ‘Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit’, by Brisbane's own Gina G, is the most streamed UK Eurovision song on Spotify. It may have come in at 8th place in the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest, but it was well ahead of its time. It ended up at No. 1 in the United Kingdom for a single week on May 25 1996, staying in the top 10 for a total of 10 weeks. The song went on to reach No. 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 1998 Grammy Awards. On Spotify it is it's 'Motiv8 Radio Edit' that has accumulated 15,807,230 streams with the original versions gaining a total of 9,661,962 streams as of April 21.

The highest ranked Eurovision winning song in our list is Bucks Fizz's 'Making Your Mind Up'. The song reached No. 1 in the UK for three weeks in 1981. In our ranking the song is followed close behind by the UK's most recent winning song 'Love Shine a Light' by Katrina and the Waves.
