Eurovision 2026: Which songs do Australian and European fans differ on?

The results of our Eurovision 2026 public poll are out and there are key differences between Australia and Europe.


A little under half the voters were Australian (43.5%) compared to Europe and the Rest of the World with 56.5%.


So, how did voters in both regions compare?


Did Europe love Eclipse as much as Australia? Did they have the same winner?

So Australia's winner is Australia, while Europe's winner is Finland, but they essentially swapped positions between 1st and 2nd.


The two share eight (Finland, Australia, Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Cyprus, France and Malta) of the same songs in the Top 10 but differ on:


  • Croatia (4th for Australia / 18th for Europe)

  • Norway (9th for Australia / 23rd for Europe)

  • Bulgaria (=10th for Australia / 15th for Europe)

  • Romania (5th for Europe / 15th for Australia)

  • United Kingdom (7th for Europe / 17th for Australia)

  • Moldova (=10th for Europe / 12th for Australia)
