This afternoon Australia time Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski were announced as the hosts of this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

32 year old Victoria is a singer and television presenter who hails from Innsbruck - the runner up city in the Eurovision 2026 bidding process.

Like her name suggests she is part of the family that founded and owns the famous Swarovski glass company.

At 17 she was signed with Sony Music and released her debut single One in a Million.

In Austria, Victoria is most famous for being a host on the TV show Let's Dance since 2018, which she also won as a contestant in 2016.

Outside of Austria, she sang the theme song of the 2010 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyager of the Dawn Treader, titled There's a Place for us. The film made over US$ 400 million at the box office.

53 year old Michael Ostrowski from Leoben, Austria is an actor and screenwriter, having appeared in over 40 films.

Eurovision fans will be glad to know that the 2022 Der Onkel (English translation: The Uncle) saw Michael not only handle the screenplay and direction, but also star alongside 2011 Eurovision host Angel Engelke.

In Austria Michael is also well-known for having hosted significant national shows and ceremonies such as the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards.

More information about Victoria and Michael can be found in this article on the Eurovision website.

Victoria and Michael will host all three Eurovision songs on the 12, 14 and 16 May 2026.
