Eurovision 2026: Bandidos do Cante wins Portugal's Festival da Canção

The last national final of 2026 is completed with Bandidos do Cante claiming victory at Festival da Canção which took place in Lisbon this morning.
Bandidos do Cante was victorious with their song Rosa with Dinis Mota and Nunca Mates o Mandarim rounding out the top three.
The winner's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest is yet to be confirmed.

Results were determined by the televote and a series of regional juries allocating points in a 50/50 split (using the classic Eurovision scoring system from 12 down to 1).
1st Place: Bandidos do Cante – Rosa (Juries 10, Public 12, Total 22)
2nd Place: Dinis Mota – Jurei (Juries 6, Public 10, Total 16)
3rd Place: Nunca Mates o Mandarim – Fumo (Juries 8, Public 8 , Total 16)
4th Place: João Ribeiro – Canção do querer (Juries 12, Public 2, Total 14)
5th Place: Sandrino – Disposto a tudo (Juries 7, Public 6, Total 13)
6th Place: Silvana Peres – Não tem fim (Juries 5, Public 4, Total 9)
7th Place: André Amaro – Dá-me a tua mão (Juries 1, Public 7, Total 8)
8th Place: Marquise – Chuva (Juries 3, Public 5, Total 8)
9th Place: Gonçalo Gomes – Doce ilusão (Juries 4, Public 3, Total 7)
10th Place: Evaya – Sprint (Juries 2, Public 1, Total 3)
Portugal will compete in the first half of the first semi-final at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

Portugal has competed 54 times since their debut in 1964 and has won the Eurovision Song Contest once with Salvador Sobral and Amar pelos dois in 2017.
Last year Portugal was represented by NAPA with Deslocado which finished in 21st place.
