*Figures include the number of streams for both the original and Eurovision versions of entries where they exist.
So can we make any predictions from the stats? Currently six of the Top 10 most streamed songs are in the top 10 with bookmakers. Similarly five of the least streamed songs are also sitting at the bottom of the odds table.
However, the figures aren't foolproof. Some songs became available to stream in January whilst the last of the songs was not available until mid-March. Additionally, some countries use Spotify more and have large domestic audiences.
Whilst six of 2023's Top 10 most streamed songs did go ahead to finish in the Top 10 at Eurovision, one song finished in 25th place and another failed to qualify for the final altogether.
Ahead of last year's contest, Voyager's 'Promise' was the 27th most streamed song on Spotify, yet it finished in 9th place!
So does this mean Italy will take the win in Malmö? It's only a matter of days until we find out?
