Eurovision 2024: Our public poll results

Over the last week we have asked fans from across the world to vote for their favourite Eurovision 2024 acts.

Unlike other polls where fans give the traditional 12 points for their winner down to 1 point for 10th, we asked participants to give five televotes of equal value to better represent how the Contest is voted on.

They could put all five votes on one song or spread it over different entries. Countries could also vote for themselves.

In total, we received 1,993 votes from 400 fans worldwide.

Because this was an Aussievision poll, we received a healthy amount of votes from Australia (33% of respondents).

However, we did receive votes from 26 of the competing countries of 2024 plus a healthy amount of votes from the Rest of the World.

Today we present the overall votes. However, we will have additional results on how certain countries voted as well as a demographic breakdowns of age, gender and sexual orientation.

So Croatia win ahead of the Netherlands with Switzerland in third!

But wait people could vote for their own country, won't that change things?

Now, we did receive a large volume of votes from Croatia and the Netherlands.

If we removed the votes given to Baby Lasagna by Croatia, it would not change their win. They still received the most votes.

If we removed the votes given to 'Europapa' by Dutch voters, it would only drop that song from 2nd to 3rd.

Additionally, if we remove the votes given to Electric Fields by Australian voters, they would drop to 25th.
