Early this morning Sheldon Riley did Australia proud by finishing 15th in the Eurovision Grand Final.

He finished Top 10 in the juries, garnering points from 23 of the 39 countries, an impressive result.

Unfortunately, the televote points didn't roll in as we'd all hoped, finishing with 2 points received from Azerbaijan.

So where did he finish with the rest of the nations?

Here is where the public ranked Australia from highest to lowest.

Azerbaijan - 9

This gives him an average of 18th position with the televote in each country. Additionally 23 of the 34 countries we have votes for, placed him in the Top 20.

This again shows at Eurovision you may not be anyone's low vote, but if you can't get into that Top 10 you will unfortunately fall down the leaderboard.

It was better news for Australia in the semi-final where 16 of the 20 countries voted gave Sheldon points in the televote. This placed him 8th in that public scoring.
