Eurovision 2022 hosts announced


Hosts: Mika, Laura Pausini and Alessandro Cattelan

The hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin have been announced.


The hosts will be Alessandro Cattelan, Laura Pausini and Mika!


Mika will be a familiar name for many with a music career spanning over a decade.


The British singer had several global hits with 'Grace Kelly' reaching no.2 in the Australian charts with 'Love Today', 'Happy Ending' and 'We Are Golden' all going Top 10.



He has grown a strong presence in Italy, he was a a mentor on the Italian version of the X Factor and has also appeared in the variety show 'Strasera Casa Mika' winning awards in the nation.


Laura Pausini is won of the best known Italian musicians in the world with a career over four decades.


In 2021 she won a Grammy Award, a Golden Globe and received an Oscars nomination for "Io sì (Seen)" from the film 'The Life Ahead'.



Alessandro Cattelan has had a twenty-year hosting career in Italy and is well known in the country for presenting 'The X Factor', 'Total Request Live', and 'Le lene'.


The hosts were announced during the Sanremo Music Festival which is happening this week in Italy.


The Festival, which has been going longer than Eurovision, will be responsible for picking Italy's entrant for Turin.


The announcement also coincides with 100 days until the Eurovision Grand Final.


The three hosts will host the two semi-finals on May 10 and 12 and the Grand Final on May 14.
