Eurovision 2021 artists with the most monthly listeners on Spotify

As most of us find out what our music in 2021 looks like through our annual Spotify Wrapped, we explore the Eurovision 2021 artists with the most monthly listeners on Spotify.

So, let's take a look at the top ten most popular Eurovision 2021 artists by the number of monthly listeners as of December 2 2021:

10. Tusse - Sweden, 571,437 monthly listeners

Tusse from Sweden had only very recently come to fame after winning 'Swedish Idol' when he arrived on the Melodifestivalen stage. Now, he has more than half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his Eurovision hit 'Voices' has been streamed more than 33,000,000 times.

9. Roxen - Romania, 765,510 monthly listeners

With more than 750,000 monthly listeners, Roxen's 'Amnesia' is one of four songs by the singer to have achieved more than a million streams on Spotify.

She is the only Eurovision 2021 non-qualifier artist to make the top ten, with the next non-qualifying artist being Australia's own Montaigne in 20th position with more than 215,000 monthly listeners.

8. Tix - Norway, 853,729 monthly listeners

Tix was already a massive name domestically in Norway prior to his participation in the national final earlier this year. Spotify announced Tix as Norway's most played artist on the service for 2021, that's a second year in a row.

'Fallen Angel' is his biggest hit of the year, now being streamed more than 21,500,000 times.

7. Blas Canto - Spain, 854, 396 monthly listeners

Blas is still incredibly popular, despite his placing at the Eurovision Grand Final with more than 850,000 monthly listeners. His top three most listened to songs on the Spotify platform have a combined 80,000,000 streams, with more than 5,000,000 of them coming from 'Voy a quedarme'.

6. Barbara Pravi - France, 886,828 monthly listeners

Second-placed Eurovision contestant and French chanson singer Barbara Pravi comes in at a close seventh place in this list. Her success is still ongoing, with almost 900,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

'Voilà' has also been an amazing success story, being streamed almost 40,000,000 times since its release.

5. Hooverphonic - Belgium, 903,114 monthly listeners

Belgian band Hooverphonic's ongoing success cannot exactly be attributed to their performance at Eurovision. The group had been famous for almost three decades prior to their participation.

4. Go_A - Ukraine, 1,044,061 monthly listeners

Ukrainian electronic folk band Go_A are still showing their popularity around Europe and the world more than six months on. They're the first artists on the list to top more than 1,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Their hit Eurovision entry, 'SHUM', has now netted more than 40,000,000 streams. This rises to more than 50,000,000 streams if you include streams of the longer original version as well.

3. Blind Channel - Finland, 1,203,234 monthly listeners

Finnish rock and metal band Blind Channel have held on to their following after the Eurovision Song Contest this year, with more than 1,200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, earning them third place on this list.

In the band's Spotify Wrapped profile, which they shared on Twitter, it was revealed that more than 6.4 million people listened to their music 74.1 million times from more than 170 countries around the world. With more than 3.5 million listened hours of their music, this amount to more than three centuries of time in a single year!

The group's 2021 Eurovision entry, 'Dark Side', has also now been streamed more than 40,000,000 times on the platform.

2. Daði Freyr - Iceland, 1,304,300 monthly listeners

The weird, whacky, and wonderful Daði og Gagnamagnið also tops more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify, and have gone on to be a hit all around the world.

In his Spotify Wrapped profile, Daði shared that his music had been streamed more than 75,000,000 times in 2021 by almost 8,500,000 listeners in 173 countries around the world. His music was also listened to for more than 3,300,000 hours - accounting to a combined almost three centuries of auditory pleasure.

In other Spotify news for the Icelandic group, their intended 2020 Eurovision entry, 'Think About Things', has now topped more than 100,000,000 streams on the platform.

1. Måneskin - Italy, 29,795,433 monthly listeners

At the top of the leaderboard, completely unsurprisingly, is Italian rock band and winners of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest - Måneskin.

More surprising is that their currently rank of almost 30,000,000 monthly listeners comes in at just under 60% of their peak, where they had more than 50,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and were reaching for the top of the list of most-listened to artists on the streaming service.

In this year's Spotify Wrapped, the group managed a few amazing feats. They're hit song 'I Wanna Be Your Slave' was named as the Best Rock and Alternative song on the service, as well as making it to #31 on the Top Tracks of 2021, and #88 on the Australia 2021 list.

Meanwhile, their cover of 'Beggin' was even more successful. The song made it to #10 on the Top Tracks of 2021, and made it to #19 on the Australia 2021 list.

Måneskin also made it into the UK 2021 list, featuring at #22 with 'I Wanna Be Your Slave' and #27 with 'Beggin'.

The Italian rockers were streamed more than 2 billion times on Spotify throughout 2021, by almost 100 million people in 178 countries around the world. Their music was also listened to for almost 100 million combined hours - coming in at more than 8,800 years worth of listening.
