Estonia: Eesti Laul 2022 Semi-Final 1 Results

This morning was the first semi-final of Estonia's national selection 'Eesti Laul' 2022.

This semi-final saw nine previous Eesti Laul participants including three Estonian Eurovision stars in the form of Stig Rästa (Estonia 2015), Elina Nechayeva (Estonia 2018), and Ott Lepland (Estonia 2012).

The following 4 acts qualified to the final from the first round of voting. These were the top 4 acts as determined by the combined jury (50%) and televote (50%) score:

• Ott Lepland - 'Aovalguses'

• Andrei Zevakin ft. Grete Paia - 'Mis nüüd saab'

• ELYSA - 'Fire'

• Stig Rästa - 'Interstellar'

The final qualifier from semi-final 1 qualified to the final from the second round of voting (100% televote). That lucky qualifier is:

• Elina Nechayeva - 'Remedy'

Those eliminated from the competition were:

• Helen - 'Vaata minu poole'

• Alabama Watchdog - 'Move On'

• Merilin Mälk - 'Little Girl'

• Triin Niitoja & Frants Tikerpuu – 'Laululind'

• Kaia-Liisa Kesler - 'Vaikus'

Five more acts from semi-final 2 will join the semi-final 1 qualifiers in the finals on Saturday February 12 (Sunday February 13 Australian time). Semi-final 2 of Eesti Laul will take place on Saturday February 5 (Sunday February 6 in Australia) at the following times:

• 3:00am (NT)

• 3:30am AEST (QLD)

• 4:00am (SA)

• 4:30am AEDT (ACT, NSW, TAS, VIC)
