The ARIA Awards are Austraia's premier music awards and the full list of nominations for the 33rd edition have been announced.
Two former Australian Eurovision artists have been nominated in Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy as well as Austrsalia Decides artist Electric Fields.
Guy Sebastian has previously won four ARIAs and is actually hosting the awards this years.
He is nominated for:
Best male artist
Best pop release (for 'Choir')
Best video (for 'Choir')
Song of the year
All of these are for his song 'Choir'.
Jessica Mauboy who represented Australia just last year has had a busy year since. She has been nominated for:
Best female artist
Best video
Both of these are for her song 'Little Things'
And finally Electric Fields have been nominated for 'Best Australian Live Act' for their '2000 and Whatever' tour. I think anyone who saw them live at Australia Decides can attest to how good they are live in an arena!
The awards will be held on Wednesday, 27th November and broadcast by Channel 9.
