Austria's Top 10 most streamed Eurovision songs

Today is Austria National Day which has been celebrated since 1955. The day marks when the Austrian Government passed the constitutional law on permanent neutrality due to the political landscape after WWII.

Austria debuted at Eurovision in 1957 and have competed 56 times.

To mark their day, we've compiled their Top 10 most streamed Eurovision songs on Spotify.

10. Vincent Bueno - Amen (2021)

One of two entries in the list who didn't qualify for the Eurovision Grand Final. The song finished 12th in the semi-final in Rotterdam.

Udo competed at three Eurovision Song Contests in a row between 1964 and 1966. He finally won it for Austria with this song which is the oldest in this list.

7 Nathan Trent - Running On Air (2017)

Nathan and his moon finished in a solid 16th place in the Grand Final despite receiving 0 points in the public vote.

6. Zoë - Loin d'ici (2016)

Austria's only entry in French finished in a very decent 13th place in the Grand Final including 8th in the public vote.

5 Cesar Sampson - Nobody But You

Cesar won the jury vote at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest to finish in 3rd place overall. This was Austria's best result outside winning the Contest on two occasions.

One of the fan-favourites of the Liverpool Contest, the entry finished 16th in the Grand Final.

The iconic winner of Eurovision 2014 has only finished runner-up on this list. No doubt impacted by a being a little older when Spotify wasn't dominating the way listeners consume music a decade later.

Despite not even qualifying for the Grand Final, this is Austria's most streamed Eurovision song. It was a hit in Europe and charted at no.6 in Austria. It also won Song of the Year at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards.
