Australia reveal their OGAE Poll 2023 votes



Australia has revealed their votes in the OGAE Poll for Eurovision 2023.


Each year fan clubs from across the world vote for their favourite Eurovision songs ahead of the Contest.


The clubs are part of OGAE International who organise the poll and help coordinate the clubs worldwide.


Each of the clubs reveal their Top 10 songs in traditional Eurovision voting with former winners including 'Euphoria', 'Toy' and 'Only Teardrops'.


Today it is Australia's turn to share their results and with 146 members voting, they are as follows:


  • 12 Points: FINLAND Käärijä - 'Cha Cha Cha' (1094 Points)

  • 10 Points: SWEDEN Loreen - 'Tattoo' (825 Points)

  • 8 Points: AUSTRIA Teya & Salena - 'Who The Hell Is Edgar?' (788 Points)

  • 7 Points: FRANCE La Zarra - 'Évidemment' (588 Points)

  • 6 Points: NORWAY Alessandra - 'Queen of Kings' (544 Points)

  • 5 Points: UNITED KINGDOM Mae Muller - 'I Wrote a Song' (399 Points)

  • 4 Points: CZECHIA Vesna - 'My Sister's Crown' (389 Points)

  • 3 Points: CYPRUS Andrew Lambrou - 'Break A Broken Heart' (300 Points)

  • 2 Points: SERBIA Luke Black - 'Samo Mi Se Spava' (291 Points)

  • 1 Point: MOLDOVA Pasha Parfeni - 'Soarele şi Luna' (285 Points)





The points were mainly collected by the recent Eurovision preview parties put on by the club in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. Aussievision was a proud supporter of these events.


Only the votes of OGAE Australia members at those parties counted towards the total.


The current overall standings of the OGAE Poll 2023 after 15 nations have voted are:


1. Sweden - 165

2. Finland - 143

3. France - 105

4. Norway - 91

5. Austria - 86

6. Italy - 65

7. UK - 62

8. Czechia - 43

9. Israel - 42

10. Slovenia - 10

11 Spain - 10

12. Belgium - 10

13. Moldova - 8

14. Switzerland - 6

15. Serbia - 5

16. Cyprus - 4

17. The Netherlands - 4

18. Portugal - 3

19. Georgia - 2

19. Germany - 2

21. Armenia - 1

21. Estonia - 1

21. Greece - 1


All other nations have yet to score.


OGAE Australia Eurovision Preview Party Results - City-by-City


Although, only members voted in the OGAE Poll, all party attendees could vote for a special ranking from each city.


OGAE Australia also revealed these results last night with some interesting differences between the cities.
