Artists and songs for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026 revealed

Denmark’s national broadcaster DR has officially unveiled the lineup of artists set to compete in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026, marking the beginning of the country’s annual search for its next Eurovision representative.

The full lineup consists of eight acts, representing a diverse cross-section of Denmark’s current music scene. The songs can be streamed on the official Dansk Melodi Grand Prix YouTube channel.

• Ericka Jane - Death Of Me

• Lasse Skriver - Roaring Heart

• Late Runner - Can U Feel It?

• Myrkur - Touch My Love And Die

• Sander Sanchez - Two Spirits

• Sissal - Infinity

• Søren Torpegaard Lund - Før vi går hjem

Among the most notable participants is Sissal, who represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2025 with Hallucination, successfully returning the nation to the Grand Final for the first time since 2019. Her decision to compete again makes her the first Danish Eurovision act in four decades to attempt back-to-back appearances since Hot Eyes in the 1980s.

Also confirmed is Lasse Skriver, a rising pop artist who gained national recognition through his participation in X Factor Denmark.

The final will take place at 20:00CET on 14 February 2026 at Arena Nord in Frederikshavn, hosted by Sara Bro and actor Alex Høgh Andersen.

The winner will be determined by taking the three highest-scoring songs forward to the superfinal. Voting then restarts from zero, with a combined 50% public vote and 50% jury vote determining Denmark’s representative for Eurovision 2026.
