ADONXS to represent Czechia at Eurovision 2025

Czechia's broadcaster, ČT has announced that Slovakian singer ADONXS will represent Czechia at Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Following three years of national selection processes, Czechia has opted for an internal selection for Basel.

ADONXS gained recognition as the winner of the Czechia-Slovak reality singing competition SuperStar 2021. After winning SuperStar, he adopted his current stage name and began releasing music blending pop, electronic and alternative influences.

Previously, ADONXS (then known as his real name Adam), lived in London and was the lead singer of a pop group called Pace for five years until 2020, and had even released an album.

His debut single Moving On was released upon his win of SuperStar and since then, he has continued to write and make music. His last album release was in 2022, Age of Adonxs. He has released six singles in total under his current name, with his last release being Sám in March 2024.

I've been following him since SuperStar, the song Moving On at that time sounded like "steering" to a new chapter, like the feeling when playing and just avoiding a dangerous turn. The album Age of Adonxs is more mature and profound, after listening to it, I feel like I understand a part of him more. The song Sam released this year makes me appreciate even more the way he keeps his own style while still daring to try new things.
