Yulia Samoylova confirmed for Russia
After many rumours Yulia Samoylova has been confirmed as Russia's participant at Eurovision in Lisbon.
Yulia was due to compete last year with her song 'Flame is Burning' but was denied entry to Ukraine due to her performing in Crimea.
Russia refused to change artist and withdrew from the contest.
Last night Russia and Ukraine were drawn in the same semi final Ukraine will have to broadcast her performance (which some suggest is against their blacklist laws) or face a potential ban. This will be a delicate process....
Her song has yet to be confirmed but it will have to be different from her 'Flame is Burning' track from last year as all Euroivision songs must have been released after September 1.
