Czech Republic chooses a star-studded international jury

The Czech Republic don't have a stellar record at Eurovision, in six attempts they have only made the final once where they finished second last.

The feeling this year is from the six songs attempting to be their representative they have a good chance of getting their best result ever.

The public have been voting for the songs online (making up 50% of the vote) with the other 50% made up of scoring from the international jury... and WHAT A JURY IT IS. It includes four artists who have finished top 5 at Eurovision:

  • Runner-up from Eurovision 2016 and our very own DAMI IM.

  • 3rd place at Eurovision 2017 - Sunstroke Project from Moldova

  • 4th place at Eurovision 1997 - Jalisse from Italy

  • 5th place at Eurovision 2016 - Robin Bengtsson from Sweden

As well as other Eurovision artists:

  • Naviband – represented Belarus in the 2017 Contest

  • Sanja Vučić – represented Serbia in the 2016 Contest

  • Iveta Mukuchyan – represented Armenia in the 2016 Contest

  • Nathan Trent – represented Austria in the 2017 Contest

  • Norma John – represented Finland in the 2017 Contest

  • Liora Simon – represented Israel in the 1995 Contest
