Ukraine: Artists announced for Vidbir 2026

Ukrainian broadcaster Suspline has announced the nine finalists that will compete in the 2026 edition of Vidbir, the Ukrainian national selection process for Eurovision. These artists were chosen by a closed audition process with a jury.

Finalists for Vidbir 2026

• Monokate

• Mr. Vel

• Valeriya Force

• ShchukaRyba

There are two returning artists who have represented Ukraine at Eurovision: Jerry Heil and Monokate (as part of Go_A). Jerry Heil who represented Ukraine alongside Alyona Alyona in 2024 with the stirring Teresa & Maria. The pair placed third in a competitive and controversial final.

Monokate (Kateryna Pavlenko), represented Ukraine in 2020 and 2021 with the entries Solovey and Shum as part of the group Go_A as the front women and main vocalist. Shum placed 5th in the final and is a firm fan favourite entry.

Wildcard entry

As per previous editions, the nine Vidbir artists will be joined by a wildcard entry, which is to be voted upon by the public soon. Ukrainian nationals can vote for one of these eleven shortlisted artists to finalise the line-up for Vidbir 2026.

The tenth and last artist participating in Vidbir will be revealed on 15 January. The contenders for the final Vidbir position are:

• Marta Adamchuk

The final will take place in February 2026 with the date yet to be confirmed. The winner of the selection will be determined based on the results of the jury and audience voting.
