Spotify Rankings 2021: Australia's Eurovision and National Final Songs



In September 2020 we took a look at Australia’s Top 20 most streamed Eurovision and National Final songs of all time on Spotify.


Now almost eight months later, and with a new Australian Eurovision entry, 'Technicolour' in the mix, we revisit our Top 20 rankings based on streaming numbers as of May 4 2021:

Australia's Eurovision 2016 runner-up, Dami Im, still reins supreme with now over 18 million streams of 'Sound of Silence'. It is Dami's most streamed song on Spotify.


The new entry in our the Top 20 is Montaigne's 2021 Australian Eurovision entry 'Technicolour'. The song has already surpassed 1 million streams and it expected to increase substantially as this years contest is underway. It sits in the top 10 in our ranking.



A song that has made the biggest climb near the top in the list is Sheppard's 'On My Way'. It now sits at No.3 climbing two spots, and surpassing 14 million streams. It has accumulated nearly double amount of streams that the Australia Decides 2019 winning entry, 'Zero Gravity' by Kate Miller-Heidke.



Another big climb is Jack Vidgen's 'I Am King I Am Queen' from Australia Decides 2020. It has nearly doubled its streaming numbers in 8 months and jumps two spots to No. 12 in our rankings.
