Earlier today Danmarks Radio (DR) released the full ten participants and songs to compete in this year’s edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Of the seven previously unconfirmed finalists are two semi-final wildcards, one from District North and the other District South.
The two wildcards are:
Jamie Talbot – ’Bye Bye Heaven’
Emil and Jamie will join the three semi-final winners, being Ben & Tan, Kenny Duerland and Sander Sanchez, to form the five acts chosen from the semi-final. Joining the five artists advancing from the semi-final are five previously unreleased entries, consisting of a variety both of contestants and songs, with a mix of musical styles and themes.
The five automatic final entrants are:
Benjamin Kissi – ‘Faith’
Isam B – ‘Bølger’
Jasmin Rose feat. RoxorLoops - ‘Human’
Maja Og De Sarte Sjæle – ‘Den eneste goth i Vejle’
Sys Bjerre – ‘Honestly’

Altogether the ten acts will compete to win Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and secure the Danish ticket to Rotterdam. The final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will take place on the 7th of March, which will be broadcast on both DR1 and DRTV.
