Poland's 2021 Song Revealed as RAFAL Releases ‘The Ride’

Poland’s 2021 entry has been released just moments ago, with Rafał Brzozowski releasing his song ‘The Ride’.

Rafał may be a familiar name to some Eurovision fans, as he took part in the Polish national final 'Sky Over Europe' in 2017, where he finished second behind Kasia Mos, and was one of the hosts of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year.

Rafał also served as a jury member for Poland in Eurovision in 2019, where his favourite entry of the contest was our own Kate Miller-Heidke's 'Zero Gravity'.

The Polish broadcaster TVP opted for internal selection this year. In 2020 they tried a new format for their national final, which was met with mixed reactions.

Poland will be hoping to turn around their luck this year, after failing to qualify in the last two contests. Their best result was in their debut year in 1994 when Edyta Górniak came second with 'To nie ja!'. Their best result in more resent years was when Michał Szpak came 8th place with 'Colour of Your Life'.
