OGAE Second Chance 2026 results
The results of the OGAE Second Chance 2026 contest have been revealed.
Italy has emerged victorious in the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2026!
The winning entry was Che fastidio! by Ditonellapiaga. This marks Italy's fifth win overall in the history of the OGAE Second Chance Contest.
To claim victory, Ditonellapiaga beat out strong competition from Ukraine and Denmark who finished in second and third place.
About the OGAE Second Chance contest
The 40th annual contest, hosted by OGAE Sweden, saw 22 songs compete for a second chance at Eurovision glory, after failing to win national selection in their home country’s Eurovision selection process.
Members from the OGAE fan clubs vote for their favourite songs in a Eurovision-style contest, awarding 12 points to the most popular entry, 10 points for second, 8 points for third and so on.
The victor is determined entirely by the votes of OGAE fan clubs from participating nations, combined with guest juries from countries that did not hold a national selection for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

The results were revealed in a special broadcast conducted by OGAE Sweden.

Australian voters largely agreed with the top 10 worldwide results, with OGAE Australia awarding our points to:

Australia had previously competed in the OGAE Second Chance contest since debuting in 2019, when we held the inaugural Australia Decides national selection event.
Our best result was 2019’s fourth place with Electric Fields and their song 2000 and Whatever.
