Montenegro may return to Eurovision in 2025 after details were released by their broadcaster RTCG.
Details of a show called "Montesong 2024" have been published with song submissions open until October 1.
The expectation is that the winner of Montesong will be the representative for Montenegro at Eurovision 2025.
Montenegro has only competed once this decade when Vladana finished 17th in the semi-final of Eurovision 2022 with Breathe.
The nation did not enter in 2020, 2021, 2023 or 2024.
Despite the expectation of the nation competing there has been no official announcement.
The potential national final of Montesong is expected before the end of this year with the winner chosen by a public and jury vote.
Entries must have at least 51% of lyrics in one of the official languages of Montenegro. A maximum of 16 songs will be selected for the event.
All submissions will be scored by a panel from the broadcaster. They reserve the right to choose an internal entry if the songs do not score high enough.
Montenegro has competed 12 times at Eurovision, qualifying for the Grand Final twice.
Their best result was 13th in 2015 with Knez performing Adio.
