Australia's Eurovision 2020 and 2021 artist Montaigne has reunited with group Hilltop Hoods to release the single 'A Whole Day's Night'.
The two previously worked together in 2016 on the song '1955' which reached no.2 on the ARIA charts and no.4 on Triple J's Hottest 100.
The single, which also features beatboxer Tom Thumb, has come out a week before Montaigne releases her album 'making it!' on September 2nd.
Montaigne told Triple J that she was "very grateful to share light from their star once again."
"One of my creative resolutions for this year was to collaborate with my friends more, so it’s good timing that Suffa (a member of Hilltop Hoods) asked if I wanted to be on another Hoods track! It feels like documenting a friendship as well as who we are as artists so many years later."
Listeners may notice some similarities to their previous collaboration as they worked with One Above, the producer behind '1955'.

Montaigne is quite busy at the moment as she is also performing in the production of 'Holding Achilles'.
It is playing at the QPAC theatre in Brisbane from 29 August to 10 September.
