Norsk Rikskringkasting (NRK) have announced the 4 artists and songs that will compete in the Western Norway Semi of Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) this Saturday February 01 (Sunday February 02, Australian time).
They are: * Hege Bjerk- ‘Pang’ * Magnus Bokn- ‘Over The Sea” * Nordic Tenors- ‘In This Special Place’ * Oda Loves You- ‘Love Who We Love’

The winner of the semi will now join Raylee, Rein Alexander and Kristin Husøy along with the 5 pre-qualifiers in the Final on February 15. Kristin Husøy won the Central Norway Semi over the weekend.
Ulrikke Brandstorp will perform her song ‘Attention’ during this weekend’s competition. Ulrikke may already be known to many Eurovision fans as she previously participated in MGP in 2017 with the song ‘Places’. She also competed in Norwegian Idol 2013 and The Voice in 2015, reaching the semi finals of the latter. Ulrikke finished in second place in NRK's Stjernekamp (Star Fight) in 2018. She has also performed in a few musical theatre productions, notably the ‘Sound of Music’ where she played Liesl.
NRK will announce the artists and songs for the Northern Norway Semi on February 03. This will be the last of the semi finals.
