Eurovision 2015 Australian representative Guy Sebastian has released, 'Believer', his seventh single off his latest ARIA No. 1 album ‘T.R.U.T.H.’.
‘T.R.U.T.H.’ is Guy’s ninth studio album which was released in October 2020.
Singles from the album were released as early as November 2018 with the first single ‘Before I Go’ going platinum in Australia and the Netherlands reaching No. 43 on the ARIA singles chart and No. 4 on the Australian iTunes chart.
Guy’s follow up single was ‘Choir’ which reached No. 7 on the ARIA singles chart and No. 4 on the Australian iTunes chart. ‘Choir’ is the eleventh single by Guy to reach the ARIA singles chart top 10. ‘Choir’ won Best Video and Song of the Year at the 2019 Aria Awards.
In November 2019 ‘Let Me Drink’ featuring The HamilTones and Wade was released. The song reached No. 21 on the Australian iTunes chart and No. 30 on the ARIA Digital Track chart.
‘Standing with You’ was released in June 2020 and peaked at number 10 on the ARIA chart. It is Guy’s 24th ARIA top 50 single on the chart. At the 2020 ARIA Music Awards ‘Standing with You’ won an ARIA award for Best Video.
‘Love on Display’ was released September 2020 to coincide with the day the album, ‘T.R.U.T.H.’, was available for pre-order. The song reached No. 61 on the ARIA Singles chart and No. 6 on the Australian iTunes chart.
‘Only Thing Missing’ was released as a single February this year. The bubbly little dance number was written in the thick of lockdown, at a Zoom song writing camp. These Zoom writing camps were new ways the music industry adapted during the Covid restrictions and lockdowns.
For his latest single ‘Believer’, Guy teamed up to co-write the song with Steve Solomon and David Hodges (from the band Evanescence). On Guy’s socials he mentioned that the single is very special to him:
“‘Believer’ is a really special song to me, written for my Jules. When I performed this as part of the Ridin’ With You tour I heard from so many of you that you loved this one”
Guy Sebastian is also currently on the refreshed Seven Network version of ‘The Voice Australia’ as a coach alongside Australia's Eurovision 2018 representative Jessica Mauboy, UK popstar Rita Ora and Australia's biggest country music export Keith Urban.
‘Believer (Radio Mix)’ is available now on iTunes and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
