Eurovision winning songs ranked by Spotify streams



Out of the 68 Eurovision winning songs, 67 of them can be streamed on Spotify in Australia.


It has been nearly three months since the Eurovision 2021 winners, Måneskin from Italy, were crowned!


Today we take a look and see how the Eurovision winning songs stack up against each other based on Spotify streams, so we have pulled together full rankings.


Only one Eurovision winning song isn't on Spotify in Australia. It is the 2001 Eurovision winning song ‘Everybody’ by Tanel Padar, Dave Benton and 2XL.


This ranking of Spotify streams were collated as of August 4, 2021:

It comes at no surprise that ‘Arcade’ is the most streamed song on Spotify! The song regained a resurgence over 2020 and 2021 thanks to TikTok and it is not too far from passing 500 million stream milestone for the original version of the song. If you were to also collate the ‘Arcade’ duet of Duncan Laurence with FLETCHER and the acoustic version ‘Arcade’ together with the original version the Eurovision 2019 winning song has amassed over 546 million streams on Spotify!!



As expected this years Eurovision winner makes its debut in our list at No. 2. 'Zitti e buoni’. Gaining huge streaming numbers when Måneskin competed at Sanremo 2021 and skyrocketed after their win. The surge of streams on Spotify continued after their Eurovision win. Italy’s latest Eurovision winning song will surpass 200 million streams before the end of the year.

The more recent Eurovision winning songs have been played the most, with seven Eurovision winning songs from the 2010 and 2020’s’s making the top 10.



The oldest Eurovision winning song with the highest ranking is 'Poupée de cire, poupée de son’ from 1965 reaching the top 20 in 15th place with over 19 million streams.


Out of the countries with multiple Eurovision winning songs, we thought it would be interesting to look at their best song ranked in this list - with countries with three or more victories, they are:
