During the day in Europe — and overnight here in Australia — news broke that the first-ever Eurovision live tour concerts have been “postponed”, with all currently scheduled dates now cancelled.
The Eurovision live tour had been planned as a major celebration of the Contest’s 70th anniversary, set to travel to ten cities across Europe. The arena shows promised to unite some of the most beloved performers in Eurovision history, alongside a selection of stars from the 2026 contest.
Seven Eurovision icons had initially been confirmed for the tour, representing winners, cult heroes and fan favourites from across the decades.
The first artists announced included Johnny Logan, Helena Paparizou, Katrina Leskanich, Lordi, Verka Serduchka, Alessandra, and Australia’s own Guy Sebastian.
Martin Green, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, released a statement regarding the news:
“We regret to announce that we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour 2026.
We have encountered unforeseen challenges that despite the best efforts of our team, the producers, and promoters we have been unable to resolve.
To the thousands of fans who bought tickets, thank you, we will ensure you will be refunded in full as soon as possible.
We look forward to relaunching the Live Tour when we can ensure the world class experience that our fans expect.
Our focus remains on delivering an incredible Eurovision Song Contest in May.
The 70th anniversary shows will be celebrated with 35 amazing artists performing to record sell-out audiences in Vienna and hundreds of millions watching around the world.”
Dates for cancelled show were :
15 June - London, United Kingdom - O2 Arena
17 June - Hamburg, Germany - Barclays Arena
19 June - Milan, Italy - Arena Milano
20 June - Zürich, Switzerland - Hallenstadion
