Eurovision Asia: The Sound of Vietnam songs released
Vietnam is getting ready to choose their first ever entry for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, with five songs in the running to be performed by their internally selected artist Tóc Tiên in The Sound of Vietnam national song selection show.
Vietnam is one of eleven countries competing in Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, which will culminate in a Grand Final in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday 14 November 2026.
Vietnamese broadcaster Vietnam Television (VTV3) is responsible for selecting the country's entry.
The Sound of Vietnam will take place on 3 October 2026 with the show beginning at 21:30 ICT Vietnam time, 16:30 CEST Europe time and 4 October at 12:30am AEST for Eurovision fans following from Australia.
The show will be available to watch live on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.

The entries were composed and produced by five production teams who were approached to be part of the Vietnamese selection.
Each team has a “distinct creative style, to craft a musical work that carries contemporary Vietnamese identity, blended skillfully with a global musical language, and capable of connecting with Asian and international audiences.”
Who is Tóc Tiên?
Nguyễn Khoa Tóc Tiên, known professionally as Tóc Tiên, is a prominent 37-year-old Vietnamese pop singer, fashion icon and television personality from Ho Chi Minh City.
She began her career as a child and teenage idol in Vietnam before building a successful career across music and television.
Tóc Tiên is known for blending traditional Vietnamese sounds with modern pop, electronic dance music and R&B.
Her breakout track Ngày Mai and success on the TV show The Remix helped cement her status as one of Vietnam’s biggest pop stars.
On television, she hosted Bài hát Việt in 2008 and has served as a judge on The Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam Idol Kids.
