Eurovision Asia: Mongolia chooses its song for Beck


Mongolia has selected its song for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, with Beck set to perform Light in Bangkok next month.
The song was chosen through the national final Mongolia's Chosen One, held on Saturday 10 October by broadcaster CNBC Mongolia.
Beck had already been internally selected to represent the country, with the national final featuring four songs performed by the artist.
The result was determined by a combination of professional jury votes (40%), the Mongolian public (40%) and international viewers (20%).

About Beck

Beck is a Mongolian singer and entertainer who began his music career in 2007.
Over nearly two decades, he has worked across several areas of the entertainment industry, including acting, television hosting, modelling and producing.
He was announced as Mongolia's representative for Eurovision Asia on 1 October, ahead of the national final to determine his competing song.
Mongolia is one of 11 countries participating in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 14 November 2026.
The Contest will take place at the One Bangkok Forum on Saturday November 14.
