Eurovision Asia: Laos choose its song for Thinla
Laos has selected the song Thinla will perform at the first Eurovision Song Contest Asia in Bangkok.
Thinla will represent Laos with Bae after the result of national selection Sieng Lao: The One was revealed on Thursday night.
The Lao singer had three songs in contention, Bae, Star and Water, with all three performed during the first part of the national selection on Wednesday.

Bae will become Laos' first ever Eurovision Song Contest Asia entry after winning Sieng Lao: The One.
Thinla performed the track alongside Star and Water, with the result decided through a combination of voting from Laos, international viewers and a professional jury.
How Laos chose its Eurovision Asia song
Unlike many of the other Eurovision Asia selections, Laos had already chosen its artist before its national selection.
Thinla was announced as the country's first Eurovision Asia representative earlier this month, with Sieng Lao: The One instead used to decide which song she would take to Bangkok.
The selection was held across two nights. Thinla performed Bae, Star and Water during the first show on September 23, before voting remained open for 24 hours and the result was revealed on September 24.
The final result was made up of 40% voting from the Lao public, 20% voting from viewers outside Laos and 40% from a professional jury.
Who is Thinla?
Thinla, previously known as Thinlamphone, has been releasing music since 2021 and combines traditional Lao Morlum music with contemporary pop, R&B and dance.
She has also performed internationally, including at the Round Festival in South Korea, and has appeared at ASEAN events as well as touring in the United States.
Thinla will now take Bae to Bangkok, where Laos will make its debut at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.
The Contest will take place at the One Bangkok Forum on Saturday November 14.
