We are reaching the half-way mark of Eurovision Week, with semi-final 2 right upon us.

Semi-final 2 will take place on Thursday 14 May at 21:00 CEST, or Friday 13 May at 05:00 AEST down here in Australia.

Let's take a look at the opening and interval acts of semi-final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Opening Acts

After seeing a recap of the first semi-final, we will see a pre-recorded clip of hosts Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski performing a chaotic parody of JJ's Wasted Love, last year's winner. We then transition to the live stage in Wiener Stadthalle, where our hosts will emerge from JJ's shipwreck prop.

Interval Acts

During the interval, host Michael Ostrowski will perform a rendition of I'm So Excited by the Pointer Sisters. Victoria Swarovski joins him for the final chorus.

Next, our hosts will lead the audience and contestants in a traditional Viennese waltz. This will be set to Udo Jürgens' Merci Chérie, winner of Eurovision 1966 and Austria's first victory at the contest.

After the voting closes and we must wait for the calculations to be made, last year's winner JJ will take to the stage and perform his new single Unknown.
