The final of Estonia's national selection show for Eurovision, Eesti Laul, is just around the corner!

On 14 February 2026, 12 acts will be vying for victory and their chance to represent Estonia in Vienna in May.

Eesti Laul will have an initial round of all songs using a 50% jury and 50% public vote to choose the top three acts for the superfinal where the winner will be determined by a 100% public vote.

We have quite a few Eurovision and Eesti Laul returnees this year, including:

  • Getter Jaani - Eurovision 2011

  • Vanilla Ninja - Eurovision 2005 (represented Switzerland)

  • Stig Rästa (as part of Stockholm Cowboys) - Eurovision 2015 (with Elina Born)

  • Victor Crone (also part of Stockholm Cowboys) - Eurovision 2019

  • Grete Paia - Eesti Laul 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2022

  • Minimal Wind - Eesti Laul 2022 and 2025

  • ANT - Eesti Laul 2025

  • Robert Linna - Eesti Laul 2021 (with Ivo Linna)

  • NOËP - Eesti Laul 2023 (as part of Meelik)

  • Laura Prits - Eesti Laul 2017 (solo) and 2020 (as part of ZiggyWild).

But... it is Ollie who people have their eyes on to finally take the crown after finishing in second place twice now (2023 and 2024). Ollie is currently sitting at the top of the odds to win Eesti Laul - will 2026 be his year?

After qualifying for the Eurovision grand final for four consecutive years, Estonia will be hoping one of these songs will continue their qualification streak and maybe do one better than last year's third place with Tommy Cash's Espresso Macchiato.

Thirteen Aussievision contributors have ranked the Estonian Eurovision hopefuls using the standard Eurovision points system. Read on below to find out which Eesti Laul 2026 entry was the team's pick!

Results

11. Robert Linna – Metsik roos (24 points)

10. Laura Prits – Warrior (27 points)

----------

10. Marta Pihkan – Kell Kuus (31 points)

Highs: 10 points from Fleur; 5 points from Paul

Lows: 1 point from Srdjan, Hayley, Cooper and Laura; 0 points from Kyriakos, Tim and Joel

"Capitalising on the popularity of country music at the moment, this song thumps through your speakers with attitude and sass as she sings about having a stand-off at six o’clock. The production is clear and of high quality, and if I knew Estonian better, I’d be singing along to this as a song that would pump me up for a battle." ~Paul

9. Nöep – Days Like This (48 points)

Highs: 7 points from Craig; 6 points from Joel

Lows: 2 points from Laura and Hayley; 1 point from John-Christian and Sam

"I feel like I’m in a trance. Such a great vibe. Enough to sway a voting audience to vote? Unsure, but I hope it gets the love it deserves!" ~Rebecca

8. Ant & Minimal Wind – Wounds (55 points)

Highs: 12 points from Paul; 10 points from Tim

Lows: 1 point from Craig; 0 points from Fleur and Laura

"An atmospheric ballad that definitely fully fills your speakers. A gem of a pop song – truly engaging from start to finish. It left me breathless in its beauty and its brilliance." ~Paul

"This seems very soft and engaging. It’s a simple ballad but it has an emotional sound to it that brings me back to it. I can’t pinpoint exactly what makes this my second favourite but it has a nice melody that’s enjoyable. It

builds up throughout the song and I think I’ve enjoyed both of their previous attempts at Eesti Laul. As good as it is, this would be a struggle come May if it were to win. Go with something with more energy Estonia." ~Tim

"Very beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but I feel the same way about this as I did about Minimal Wind’s entry last year; I just can’t see it translating very well to the Eurovision stage." ~Rebecca

7. Clicherik & Mäx – Jolly Roger (61 points)

Highs: 12 points from Laura; 10 points from Craig

Lows: 1 point from Kyriakos, Tim and Fleur; 0 points from John-Christian and Hayley

"YO-HO! Clicherik & Mäx are here to steal the whole show with Jolly Roger. I know this can be a polarising choice, but I’m here for this pirate-themed banger. On the surface it may seem like yet another novelty song, but the rappers have found a way to make it feel contemporary and catchy! I can’t wait to see what these megastars will do on stage at Eesti Laul!" ~Laura

"This feels like it could use another gear, but the hook is very catchy and it's strongly in line with what Estonia has sent the last few years. Curious to see how this will translate to a live setting - it could be quite messy if they're not careful." ~Craig

"What a banger! Estonian rap just hits my brain in the right way. Unfortunately, I do think that this steps on the toes of 5miinust and Puuluup from a couple of years ago. Not because this is copying it, it certainly isn’t, but the shock and awe of seeing Estonia present something like this has worn off a bit. I feel like If this song had happened before 2024, I would be more excited about it than I am now, but as it stands, the wind has sort of been taken out of my sails (ha ha). Still, it’s a fun pirate song with a great beat and a solid aesthetic!" ~Rebecca

"I hate this with every fibre of my being. So much so that I felt strongly enough to put it in writing. Yep, it's gonna win isn't it?" ~Hayley

6. Getter Jaani - The Game (63 points)

Highs: 10 points from Srdjan; 8 points from Fleur

Lows: 1 point from Rebecca and Paul; 0 points from Kyriakos

"This is a very fun danceable pop song that I feel would be good to have in the mix at Eurovision." ~Srdjan

5. Vanilla Ninja – Too Epic To Be True (80 points)

Highs: 12 points from Tim and Fleur; 10 points from John-Christian, Hayley and Laura

Lows: 3 points from Sam and Rebecca; 2 points from Srdjan, Paul and Joel

"If Ollie is denied for a third time, which is unlikely, this might be the second choice because I can't wait for them to perform on the Eurovision stage after more than 20 years. The only downside of this is that Switzerland, which they have represented in 2005, is on the other semi-final, so unless Germany or Italy or any voting allies that back it, it may be a coin toss on its qualification." ~John-Christian

"This song is really nostalgic to me, I love 2000s pop rock and the energy of this song is fantastic! Vanilla Ninja are legends and I’m glad they stayed true to their original sound. What an anthem!" ~Laura

"As much as I love Cool Vibes in 2005, Vanilla Ninja's latest Eurovision endeavour is certainly not too epic to be true. The only reason it is the joint bookies’ favourite is name recognition. This song is pleasant enough but lacks the oomph and wow factor of so many of the other entries. Yes, Vanilla Ninja probably should have represented Estonia at Eurovision at some stage, but this year is not the time." ~Sam

"I want them back. That is all." ~Fleur

"I must say I wasn’t exactly musically inclined throughout the 2000s, however this song seems like it was made from the essence of a rock musical straight-too-DVD high school drama. Yes, that’s it, High School Rock Musical

with a dash of Schlager salt to produce this absolute earworm. I don’t know if this song is good or bad but it’s catchy and seems designed to close out the show. It has impact and it is so easy to listen too. Is it challenging

to listen to or make me feel something visceral? No, but it feels familiar. It’s just a catchy song, so I suppose that answers it for being good." ~Tim

"Dated as heck but cute as a button and let's not deny it... insanely catchy." ~Hayley

"So disappointed in Vanilla Ninja! Their song sounds like a Britney Spears-era B-side in the worse possible way. You’ve tarnished my memory of the impeccable Cool Vibes." ~Joel

4. Uliana – Rhythm of Nature (85 points)

Highs: 12 points from Kyriakos and Rebecca; 8 points from Paul and Sam

Lows: 3 points from Srdjan and Craig; 2 points from Cooper

"I found Rhythm of Nature to be the most interesting entry out of the Eesti Laul selection this year. It does slight remind me of Go_A. I really hope this song goes to Eurovision, I am expecting some impressive staging." ~Kyriakos

"A call for unity between Estonia and Ukraine, this ethno-bop could be the surprise packet of the competition. Hypnotic, addictive, and huge staging possibilities, this could sweep the win, and I wouldn’t hate it at all. This could be Estonia’s Lusterka for this year." ~Paul

"What a simple but gorgeous track. I don't even know what else to say. It's light and joyful, quiet but energetic. And I simply adore a song that pays homage to the earth and its people without feeling pandering or forced. Bonus points for sending me down a rabbit hole learning about the Setos people! Well done on all fronts, Uliana!" ~Rebecca

"Unfortunately, when Estonia sends something traditional to Eurovision it often ends badly – think Neiokõsõ’s Tii in 2004. However, Uliana has put together an excellent entry that marries Estonian musical culture to a contemporary beat. The outfits and nature in the music video are stunning, and I hope we see more of this in the Eesti Laul staging." ~Sam

3. Grete Paia – Taevas jäi üles (88 points)

Highs: 12 points from Hayley and Craig; 10 points from Joel

Lows: 4 points from Fleur; 0 points from Rebecca and Paul

"Absolutely hooked on this on the first listen. I have no idea how they are going to stage this, and I don't see it doing great - but I love it anyway. Certified banger and I will keep listening to this on repeat - OBSESSED!" ~Hayley

"A really solid little bit of Scandipop, with an uplifting chorus and some wonderfully clean production. Probably not expecting Grete to lift the trophy with this one, but it was the song that leapt out at me most from the lineup. Good shot for the Eesti Laul juries, potentially?" ~Craig

"This sounds like the harder, sexier cousin to FKA twigs’ Anyma remix of Eusexua. Can you ever go wrong with floating vocals over a pulsing beat? Ethereal EDM for the win." ~Joel

2. Stockholm Cowboys – Last Man Standing (89 points)

Highs: 12 points from Sam and Cooper; 10 points from Paul and Kyriakos

Lows: 1 point from Joel; 0 points from Hayley

"Given my love of Getter and Vanilla Ninja’s past Eurovision entries, I was not expecting for Stig Rästa and Victor Crone to be the previous contestants I would be most rooting for. However this song is such an incredible blend of EDM and country, and right up my alley. The drop is absolutely epic. When Swedes represent Estonia at Eurovision they have delivered some of my favourite performances, so I hope this trend continues." ~Sam

"This is the unexpected banger from Victor Crone and Stig Rasta that you never knew you wanted to hear. This fills the room thumping along with hints of a sea-shanty song and a call to action willing you to battle. How this

will perform is a mystery, but this is a masterpiece, nonetheless." ~Paul

"Definitely not a strong Eesti Laul year this time round but I’m a big fan of Last Man Standing! Yes it’s another EDM-infused track like we’ve been seeing a lot this national final season but this take on it feels authentic in the genre. Avicii perfected the country EDM blend and this is an Aldi version of that. I’ll take what I can get!" ~Cooper

"This song sounds extremely familiar, its super catchy, cant wait to see how they stage this." ~Kyriakos

"I’m the first to admit that I have never been a huge fan of Stig Rästa, so believe me when I say that this is annoyingly catchy. Incredibly well produced and anthemic. Will be great for an arena. Interested to see how this goes." ~Rebecca

1. Ollie – Slave (103 points)

Highs: 12 points from Srdjan, Joel and John-Christian; 10 points from Sam, Cooper and Rebecca

Lows: 3 points from Paul; 2 points from Fleur

"I've had enough of Ollie missing the chance to represent Estonia. He has been denied twice, he cannot be denied for a third time. His song is more teenage pop angst that it could have high chances of getting points from neighbours Sweden and Finland in the semi-final." ~John-Christian

"This might finally be Ollie’s year to get to Eurovision. For me this is his weakest entry so far but that doesn’t mean it’s bad by any means. What Ollie has is a distinctive vocal that will stand out at Eurovision, which is what

you need at such a massive contest. So hopefully he finally gets to be the champion!" ~Cooper

"I'll admit I don't think this is his best effort (Venom was amazing) but I think this would be a good fit for Eurovision. As a metal/rock lover, I do think it is important to have something on the heavier side in the mix at Eurovision and this song is still accessible and would not totally be lost with the juries. While it isn't my favourite song from Eesti Laul this year, I really would love to see him get to Vienna - GO OLLIE!" ~Hayley

"This is exactly the type of 90s style Rock that I like. After just missing out the last two times, its finally time Ollie got his chance to shine on the ESC stage." ~Srdjan

"I'm a sucker for a rock/metal song that I can headbang in my living room to. Ollie has a deliciously gritty voice that works so well for this. I'm slightly nervous about how this will go live, though, because if the vocal isn't up to

scratch I feel like the whole package sort of falls apart. It's a risk, but one with incredible payoff if everything goes according to plan." ~Rebecca

"I was a little worried seeing the title of OLLIE’s entry given the inevitable comparisons with Måneskin’s I Wanna Be Your Slave. However, any doubts were blown away. This must be OLLIE’s time! I hope he can transform from the slave to the master of Eesti Laul 2026." ~Sam
