Duncan Laurence's Eurovision winning song 'Arcade' cracks the US Billboard Hot 100 top 50



Duncan Laurence's Eurovision winning song for The Netherlands, 'Arcade' continues its climb on the US Billboard Hot 100 cracking the top 50.


'Arcade' is currently sitting at No. 50 in its 17th week on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Eurovision 2019 winning song climbed five spots from last weeks position of No. 55.


'Arcade' first made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 back in April this year when it was the first Eurovision song to hit the Billboard Hot 100 in 24 years.



Duncan Laurence has also made his debut on the Billboard Artist 100 chart sitting at No. 97 this week (August 14).


The Dutch singer previously sat at No.2 on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart while recent Eurovision winners Måneskin held the No. 1 spot on the chart. Duncan has now dropped to No. 5.


'Arcade' made most of its gains from radio play with the song now gaining RIAA Gold certification. 'Arcade' is also still charting in the in the following Billboard charts (August 14):

  • Adult Pop Songs No. 10

  • Adult Contemporary No. 13 (Peak No. 12)

  • Pop Airplay No. 13

  • Radio Songs No. 17

  • Pop Songs No. 13

When it comes to the most recent Eurovision winners from Italy, Måneskin's single 'Beggin', a cover of The Four Seasons' from 1967, is currently sitting at No. 44 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. 'Beggin' dropped six spots. A fortnight ago it reached its current peak position at No. 35. Måneskin remain No. 1 on the Emerging Artists chart.


In Australia both of Måneskin's charting singles on the ARIA Singles chart have been certified gold selling over 35,000 units. 'Beggin' currently sits at No.4 and peaked at No. 3 and 'I Wanna Be Your Slave' is sitting in the Top 20 at No. 19 after reaching a peak position of No. 15.
