Bernada

The Swiss-born Bernarda competed in ‘Dora 2021’ with her song ‘Colors’, which finished in 7th place. She was ranked second among the jury, but 10th in the televote.

Back in 2010 Bernarda competed in Switzerland’s Eurovision 2011 selection show ‘Die grosse Entscheidungs Show’. Her entry ‘Confidence’ just missed out finishing in the runner up spot. In 2018 Bernarda competed in ‘The Voice of Germany’ and was eliminated in the semi-final. The following year she competed in the Croatian Eurovision national final ‘Dora 2019’. She finished in 6th place with her entry ‘I Believe in True Love’.

Eric Vidović

Eric is a former contestant of ‘The Voice Hrvatska’ which aired in 2019. He made it to the Knockout Stage where he was eliminated. Straight after his run on the show he was signed to Universal Music Croatia and competed in ‘Dora 2021’ with the song ‘Reci mi’. He finished in 10th place.

Mia Negovetić

‘Dora 2022’ will be Mia’s third attempt in the Croatian national final. The former reality TV star previously won RTL Televizija’s ‘Zvjezdice’ in 2015. The following year she made an appearance on NBC’s ‘Little Big Shots’ where she sung a cover of Beyoncé’s ‘Listen’.

Mia made her debut in the ‘Dora’ in 2020 with the song ‘When it Comes To You’. She ended up tying in first place with Damir Kedžo. Due to the tie-break rules Damir was ranked higher by the public televote, so the win was awarded to him. She returned for vengeance the following year with ‘She's Like a Dream’ this time finishing in third place.

ToMa

Competed in last years edition of ‘Dora’ with the catchy scandipop song ‘Oceans of Love’. He finished in sixth place with the juries and in seventh place with the televote placing him in sixth place overall.

More to come...

The Dora 2022' show will occur on Saturday February 19 live from Opatija. The winner that gets a chance to go to Eurovision will be determined by a combination of televote and a jury of music industry professionals.

There have been changes to the rules for Dora this year. The winning song may no longer undergo a major revamp following victory, with only minor modifications allowed with permission from HRT.

Croatia made their debut at Eurovision back in 1993. They competed in 26 Contests and making the Grand Finals in 18 of them. Their best placed entries finished in 4th place, 'Sveta ljubav' by Maja Blagdan in 1996 and 'Marija Magdalena' Doris Dragović in 1999. The last time Croatia made it to the Eurovision Grand Final was in Kyiv 2017 with Jacques Houdek's entry 'My Friend'
