Bulgaria: VICTORIA's Eurovision concert and song reveal preview



Bulgaria’s road to the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has been a long and open internal selection, but the time has finally come for VICTORIA’s Eurovision entry to be announced!


Airing tomorrow morning at 07.00 am AEDT, VICTORIA’s live one-off Eurovision concert will be broadcast on BNT1 in Bulgaria, and will be streamed live around the world on VICTORIA’s YouTube channel. The show is scheduled to run for approximately one hour.


The concert, which will feature some well-known Bulgarian stars with Eurovision connections, as well as some of the stars of this years contest, is being produced by Bulgarian Eurovision broadcaster BNT, iCard, and the Ligma Group.


About the concert, producer Genoveva Hristova said:


“I am glad that we managed to bring together on one stage some of the most popular people in Bulgaria. Eurovision is a project that gives access to a huge audience and I can definitely say that there is no better place to show that we are one. The concert on March 10 will be attended by TV presenters, actors, singers, and a number of other celebrities.”

Some of the Bulgarian stars who will be in attendance include actors Vasil Vassilev-Zueka and Gerasim Georgiev-Gero, musical artists Mihaela Fileva, DARA, Venci Venc’, and Alex Raeva, actress and producer Desi Tenekedzhieva, and director and vlogger Chris Zahariev.



Bulgarian superstar Grafa, who co-wrote Bulgaria’s 2016 Junior Eurovision entry ‘Magical Day’ and has released eight studio albums, will also be in attendance, along with Azis, who provided backing vocals for Mariana Popova’s 2006 Eurovision entry ‘Let Me Cry’, and Lucy Diakovska, who represented Germany at Eurovision in 2008 as a member of the girl group No Angels.


So far, it has also been announced that some of this year’s Eurovision artists will be delighting viewers with special video greetings. Included in the list were Blas Cantó, The Roop, Jeangu Macrooy, Hurricane, and Daði og Gagnamagnið.


VICTORIA will be performing all of her entries from her new EP ‘A Little Dramatic’, as well as her other potential Eurovision entry ‘UGLY CRY’, and some of her biggest hits.


At the end of the concert, VICTORIA will present the Bulgarian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
