Australia receives points from Cyprus in the OGAE Poll for Eurovision 2022

Australia picked up its fourth set of points from the OGAE Poll for Eurovision 2022, this time from Cyprus.


Each year the fan clubs from across the world vote for their favourite Eurovision songs ahead of the Contest.


The clubs are part of OGAE International who organises the poll and helps coordinate the clubs worldwide.


Each of the 40+ clubs reveal their Top 10 songs in traditional Eurovision voting with former winners including 'Euphoria', 'Toy' and 'Only Teardrops'.


It is a different network from INFE, however share the similar ideals of uniting fans together in their love of Eurovision.


After Romania was revealed yesterday, it is Cyprus' turn today! Their results are:

  • 12 points - Italy

  • 10 points - Greece

  • 8 points - Spain

  • 7 points - United Kingdom

  • 6 points - Sweden

  • 5 points - Poland

  • 4 points - The Netherlands

  • 3 points - Albania

  • 2 points - AUSTRALIA

  • 1 point - France



These are the fourth set of points awarded to Australia after the reveal of votes from 14 countries so far. Australia previously received 3 points from OGAE Rest of the World.

  • Italy – 129 points

  • Sweden – 119 points

  • Spain – 100 points

  • United Kingdom – 65 points

  • The Netherlands – 58 points

  • Poland – 48 points

  • France – 46 points

  • Albania – 39 points

  • Norway – 36 points

  • Cyprus – 34 points

  • Greece – 22 points

  • Austria – 21 points

  • Ukraine – 19 points

  • Serbia – 18 points

  • Finland – 14 points

  • Czech Republic – 10 points

  • Estonia – 9 points

  • AUSTRALIA – 8 points

  • Moldova – 6 points

  • Croatia - 4 points

  • Belgium – 2 points

  • Germany – 2 points

  • Romania – 2 points

  • Lithuania – 1 point
