Australia picks up points from Italy in the OGAE Poll for Eurovision 2022




Overnight Australia picked up it's second set of points from the OGAE Poll for Eurovision 2022, this time from this year’s Contest hosts Italy.


Each year the fan clubs from across the world vote for their favourite Eurovision songs ahead of the Contest.


The clubs are part of OGAE International who organises the poll and helps coordinate the clubs worldwide.


Each of the 40+ clubs reveal their Top 10 songs in traditional Eurovision voting with former winners including 'Euphoria', 'Toy' and 'Only Teardrops'.


It is a different network from INFE, however share the similar ideals of uniting fans together in their love of Eurovision.


After Norway was revealed yesterday, it is Italy's turn today! Their results are:

  • 12 points - France

  • 10 points - United Kingdom

  • 8 points - The Netherlands

  • 7 points - Poland

  • 6 points - Sweden

  • 5 points - Ukraine

  • 4 points - Spain

  • 3 points - Finland

  • 2 points - AUSTRALIA

  • 1 point - Norway


These are the second set of points awarded to Australia after the reveal of votes from eight countries so far. Australia previously received one point from Latvia last week.

  • Italy – 71 points

  • Sweden – 68 points

  • Spain – 48 points

  • United Kingdom – 34 points

  • The Netherlands – 34 points

  • France – 34 points

  • Poland – 27 points

  • Norway – 19 points

  • Ukraine – 18 points

  • Albania – 16 points

  • Cyprus – 16 points

  • Austria – 15 points

  • Finland – 14 points

  • Greece – 12 points

  • Serbia – 10 points

  • Estonia – 7 points

  • Moldova – 6 points

  • Czech Republic – 5 points

  • AUSTRALIA – 3 points

  • Belgium – 2 points

  • Germany – 2 points

  • Romania – 2 points

  • Lithuania – 1 point
