Tell us a little bit about yourself

I was born and raised in Bosnia & Herzegovina for the first 8 years of my life before moving to Australia in 1998. I work as a dietitian and am very passionate about helping people in the community be the healthiest, best version of themselves.

Outside of spending half the year obsessing over Eurovision, I am really big into tennis (to the point of following it all year long) and music. I also love travelling and plan to continue to see as many places as I can.

I try to go at least a few concerts a year and have been attending the Australian Open for the last 15 years.

What is your Eurovision journey?

My first experience with Eurovision was seeing Serbia winning in 2007 on it's first time competing as an independent nation. Since then my love for Eurovision grew so much that I started following and watching the various Eurovision national finals back in 2018.

I was lucky to attend my first two contests in 2024 and 2025 in Målmo and Basel and had such a great time that I plan on going again in the very near future.

Do you have any affinity with nations other than Australia?

I do feel particularly close to the country of Serbia having grown up in the Serbian side of Bosnia and understanding the language. Most years I really like the Serbian songs and am always cheering on them to do well at Eurovision.

Any Aussievision highlights?

My Aussievision highlights since joining a few months ago have been writing my first major article covering the UMK (the Finnish national final) rankings as well as meeting so many of the Aussievision team at various events around the country.

Quick questions on Eurovision entries

Best winner:

Måneskin - Zitti E Buoni

Favourite three non-Australian entries:

We Will Rave (Austria 2024), Dum Tek Tek (Türkiye 2009), & Luktelk (Lithuania 2024)

Favourite Australian entry:

Eclipse (2026)

Makes you dance:

Baller (Germany 2025)

Favourite non-qualifier:

Love Unlimited (Bulgaria 2012) or Shh (Cyprus 2025)

Favourite Eurovision year:

2021 in Rotterdam without a doubt, one of the strongest years in recent years. There are very few songs I don't like.

Favourite national finals:

UMK and Melodifestivalen. They just cater to the type of music I love, UMK in particular has gone from strength to strength over the years.

Favourite national final songs:

Siren Song by Maruv (Ukraine), Sinceramente by Annalisa (Italy) and Venom by Ollie (Estonia)
