The Eurovision community in Australia is made up dozens of artists who have competed at Eurovision, Australia Decides or Junior Eurovision and are supported by a dedicated media and a passionate fan community.
In a week where our community lost a much beloved event in Australia Decides, we wanted to find a way to celebrate.
The inaugural Aussievision Awards recognises the work these artists do beyond the Contest, from music releases to TV appearances, as well as books and theatre.
We also wanted to acknowledge the work that many in the media do to build up the Contest and the fans who support it from the ground up.
After much deliberation in the Aussievision team, we are announcing the nominations in eight award categories, with a further two also to be decided.
Many categories will be entirely chosen by the public, while the remaining others will be selected by the Aussievision jury of our team members.
So on to the nominations!
