Duncan Laurence has won the Eurovision Song Contest for 2019 giving The Netherlands their first win since 1975.
The Netherlands finished 3rd in the jury vote behind Sweden and surprise packet North Macedonia.
They however finished 2nd in the televote (behind surprise winners Norway) to win by x points ahead of Italy.
Mahmood's 'Soldi' was a gallant runner- up finishing 4th in the jury and 3rd in the televote. That result with those placings show just how over the place the points were this year.
Sergey Lazarev finished 3rd for the second time, 9th in the jury and 4th in the televote.
Australia's Kate Miller-Heidke finished in a very respectable 9th position with 285 points. She was 6th in the jury and 7th in the televote. She received two sets of 12 points from Romania and Poland.
This was Australia's fourth Top 10 position in the five years we've competed.
