UK reveals You Decide songs and artists


After teasing us with an artist announcement BBC Eurovision has finally revealed all songs competing in the British national final 'You Decide'. Australia has given the United Kingdom the most points since 2015, so basically if they don't impress us with these, they probably won't do well...

Check out the artists and their songs below.

Asanda - Legends

The 16yo competed on Britain's Got Talent in 2013 at age 11 making the final and impressing with diva like versions of Rihanna and Beyonce. Has been in theatre production such as Bugsy Malone since.

Goldstone - I Feel the Love

Contemporary girl group who have recently performed at events like Amsterdam Pride. According to the BBC all have "experience of acting and singing on stage and on TV."

Jaz Ellington - You

Jaz competed on the first series of The Voice in the UK making it through to the semi finals. BBC describe him as an "old-school soul singer and as a seasoned vocal arranger has been involved with music for most of his life."

Liam Tamne - Astronaut

Liam competed in the 2013 edition of The Voice. With his distinct vocal style he was an early favourite but suffered a shock battle round elimination. Since The Voice he has gone on to perform on the stage including Wicked, Hairspray, Les Misérables, The Phantom Of The Opera and The Rocky Horror Show.

RAYA - Crazy

According the BBC RAYA is an experienced stage and TV perfomer as well as being a trained dancer, vocal coach and DJ. Her song Crazy is written by Greta Salome who competed for Iceland at Eurovision in 2012 and 2016.

SuRie - Storm

SuRie has been a star of the stage performing as Fontaine Les Misérables. Additonally she was a backing singer for Loic Nottet from Belglium in his 2015 song 'Rhythm Inside' and Blanche, also from Belgium, at last year's contest.

The final of You Decide will be held on Wednesday 7 February.
