Eurovision turquoise carpet: Our 10 highlights
Today, the 40 acts competing at Eurovision 2022 took part in the opening ceremony and turquoise carpet at the stunning Reggia di Venaria (Venaria Palace) just outside Turin.
All artists looked stunning but we've picked out our Top 10 highlights below:
Sweden: Cornelia Jakobs

Sweden's Cornelia Jakobs made a statement in this sheer outfit and looked absolutely stunning.
Australia: Sheldon Riley

Sheldon always knows how to make an impact with his visual fashion and today was no exception. In his Eurovision whites, the big star was the accompanying giant coat/cape.
Albania: Ronela Hajati

Ronela Hajati doesn't do things by halves and her outfit and hat combination was an absolute head turner.
Italy: Mahmood and Blanco

Fashion is meant to be bold and daring and Mahmood certainly did that. His pink/purple culottes will certainly divide opinion.
Ukraine: Kalush Orchestra

Ukraine made their message clear in all black accompanied by Ukrainian flags.
Spain: Chanel

Chanel always looks incredible on stage, and it was no different on the turquoise carpet today. Wearing the flamenco inspired colours of red and black, the star of the show was the giant red tulle train.
Israel: Michael Ben David

Michael Ben David was shameless, spotless and flawless in this patterned number that certainly caught attention. His backing dancers also looked chic in their sleek blue suits.
Iceland: Systur

Making another bold statement or two, the trio of sisters supported the LGBTIQ+ (particularly Trans) and Ukrainian communities all in one hit.
Malta: Emma Muscat

From head down to toe, Emma looked stunning in this Roman inspired all white outfit.
San Marino: Achille Lauro

Perhaps a bit understated for Achille Lauro, this suave suit and open shirt combo (plus his effortless coolness) nabbed the last spot on our list.
As always the beauty of fashion and fashion statements is always in the eye of the beholder, so make up your own mind!
