Ott Lepland, who previously represented Estonia in Eurovision 2012 with the sixth-placing song 'Kuula', returns to Eesti Laul with 'In The Light'.

Shira gets a second chance in quarter-final 4 after failing to qualify in quarter-final 3 with 'Under Water'.

Additionally, the hosts for quarter-final 4 of Eesti Laul 2022 were also revealed last night. The trend of past Estonian Eurovision artists performing hosting duties continues with Estonia's 2016 representative and Eesti Laul 2021 superfinalist Jüri Pootsmann, together with 2011 Estonian Eurovision artist Getter Jaani, presenting the show on Saturday night.

Some well-known artists have qualified from previously quarter finals including four Eurovision artists in Stig, Evelin Samuel, Elina Nechayeva and Anna Sahlene, as well as three-time Eesti Laul superfinalist STEFAN.

As with each of the previous three quarter-finals, the songs will be presented in music video form only, with several of the artists present in the studio along with our hosts.

The Estonian public and an eight-member jury will decide the 5 songs that will join them in the semi-finals. The top 3 songs in the public vote and the top 2 remaining songs in the jury vote will progress to the next round of the competition, completing the semi-final lineup of Eesti Laul 2022.

The 20 qualifying artists will take to the stage in February to perform live at the Eesti Laul 2022 semi-finals, with the top 5 songs from each semi-final advancing to the final.

Eesti Laul quarter-final 4 will commence on Saturday 11 December 2021 at 9:35pm local time (Sunday 12 December 2021 in Australia at 6:35am AEDT). You can watch the broadcasts live on ETV and ETV+.
