Rasmussen and 'Higher Ground' will represent Denmark at Lisbon

Rasmussen won with his viking inspired song 'Higher Ground' at Denmark's Melodi Grand Prix.

Three songs out of the original 10 made the super final:

Rasmussen - Higher Ground

Albin Fredy - Music for the Road

Anna Ritsmar - Starlight

Sannia (aka Whigfield) sadly missed out.

The public voting in the super final was overwhelming with 50% of the Danish public voting for Rasmussen. Starlight finished 2nd with 31% and Albin Fredy 3rd with 19%
