Eurovision Week 2020: SBS and EBU Coverage



As we all know Eurovision 2020 isn't going ahead as normal... but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate the contest during the week it would have been held!


Luckily for us, SBS has put on a whole week of TV coverage to coincide with some events from Eurovision themselves.

Sunday 10 May


8:30pm - 10:30pm: 'Road to Eurovision 2020: The Winners' on SBS VICELAND


The Winners' concert was held in Amsterdam on December 15, 2019. The concert was broadcast on the Dutch Public Channel NPO3 in 2020.


Monday 11 May


1:30pm - 5:30pm: 'Eurovision Song Contest 2015' on SBS


Tuesday 12 May


1:30pm - 5:30pm: 'Eurovision Song Contest 2016' on SBS


Wednesday 13 May


5:00am: 'Eurovision Song Celebration - Semi Final 1' on Eurovision YouTube

This will feature the semi final songs in the order producers had planned as well as hosts Netherlands, plus Big 5 nations Italy and Germany.


1:30pm - 5:30pm: 'Eurovision Song Contest 2017' on SBS


Thursday 14 May


1:30pm - 5:30pm: 'Eurovision Song Contest 2018' on SBS


Friday 15 May


5:00am: 'Eurovision Song Celebration - Semi Final 2' on Eurovision YouTube

This will feature the semi final songs in the order producers had planned as well as Big 5 nations UK, France and Spain.


1:30pm - 5:30pm: 'Eurovision Song Contest 2019' on SBS


Saturday 16 May


7:30pm - 10:30pm: 'Eurovision 2020: Big Night In!' on SBS


Hosted by Joel and Myf, this will be the countdown of Australia's favourites of this year, 40th to 1st plus a studio performance of Montaigne's concept for Rotterdam.


10:30pm - 12:30am: 'Eurovision Top 40 Controversies' on SBS


12:30am - 1:30pm: 'Secrets of Eurovision' on SBS


Sunday 17 May


5:00am: 'Eurovision: Shine a Light' on Eurovision YouTube


Hosted by Dutch Eurovision presenters Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley and Jan Smit, Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light will honour all 41 songs in a non-competitive format and provide plenty of surprises for fans at home.
