Emmy wins Melodi Grand Prix semi-final 3
This morning saw the third semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix, with four very different performances on offer for Norwegians to chose from.
In the Gold Duel, a firey performance from Emmy saw her take the win. She beat Big Daddy Karsten, who gave a very uplifting and colourful performance of his song ‘Smile’.
In the first head-to-head of the evening, Big Daddy Karsten defeated the young performer Dinaye who put on a terrific performance.
This left Emmy and Ole Hartz to battle it out in the second battle, with Emmy taking out the win.
Fans were also treated to a performance by the pre-qualified artist Kaja Rode and her song ‘Feel Again’.
Emmy now moves on to the final on 20th February, and she joins Kaja Rode, Stavangerkameratene, Tix, KEiiNO, Blåsemafian feat. Hazel and last week’s semi final winner Raylee in the final.
Semi-final four is next Sunday morning Australian time, with the artists who will compete in that semi final to be announced tomorrow.
